| UniProt | INDUCTION: Highly and transiently expressed in tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) infected leaves. Induced by methyl-jasmonate (MeJA), and by ethephon (ethylene-releasing compound) in buds and to lower extent in leaves. Quickly and transiently induced by salicylic acid (SA). Strongly induced by wounding, independently of ethylene, and through a de-novo-protein-synthesis-independent regulation. Wound induction is reduced by MeJA.
